Building control, explained before you commit.
MKSB CO Ltd is a building control consultancy. We guide a project through the building control process from the first quotation to the final certificate, and we try to make it understandable while we do it.
Who runs it
The work is run by Muhammad K. Hussain, who has spent his career on the inspection side of the industry, most recently as Technical, Training and Compliance Manager at Sweco. The person who quotes your job is the person who inspects it.
How the partnership works
MKSB is not itself a Registered Building Control Approver. Where a project needs the formal building control functions of a registered approver, those functions are undertaken by Midlands Building Control & Consultancy Ltd under its own registration, policies and regulatory obligations.
MKSB’s role is consultancy, project support and coordination. That arrangement is stated in full at the bottom of every page of this site, and the organisation responsible for the formal functions is identified for each individual project.
